House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) claimed Friday evening that 50,000 Americans died because the Senate failed to remove President Donald Trump from office during the impeachment trial in February.

There is one thing that, really, I have to say haunts me from the trial and it was before that snippet you showed where we knew we had to answer the question to the senators, okay, essentially, house managers, you’ve proved him guilty [sic] (emphasis mine), does he really need to be removed after all? we have an election in nine months. how much damage could he really do? and we posed that question to the Senate and we answered it by saying that he could do an awful lot of damage but frankly, chris, I don’t think we had any idea how much damage he would go on to do in the months ahead. There are 50,000 Americans now who are dead, in significant part because of his incompetence, because of his inability to think beyond himself and put the country first. I don’t think we would have ever anticipated that his brand of narcissism and his brand of incompetence would be so fatal to the American people.

In a way Schiff is right. Had Trump been removed and replaced by a Demonrat, we would not be counting COVID 19 deaths. The silver bullet vaccine in what passes for the leftist mind is a Demonrat in the Whitehouse with full demon control of both Houses of Congress.

I wonder if he realizes that if they had removed Trump, then Pence would have been president. Given the fact that Pence head’s the White House Coronavirus Task Force, I’m not sure the outcome would have been much different . . . just saying.

The grammar here is interesting. It's almost a word salad. I think it's a type of persuasive technique, perhaps related to Neuro-Linguisitic Programming.
"We had to answer the question TO the senators" -- No. The House wasn't answering the question. The Senate wasn't asking a question. The House was volunteering an assertion of guilt.
"house managers, you've proved him guilty" -- No. The senate determination was exactly the opposite of this.
The House made a claim and declared the claim proven. No one agreed, but Schiff claims total victory.
He also makes it seem like President Trump subsequently murdered 50,000 people with his bare hands. Just because that's a good story.
Gee, he must have been outraged over the flu deaths numbers back in 2009. Oh wait, that was under Obama’s watch so I would not hold my breath about that, eh?
How many hundreds of thousands would have died in the war that would followed his “removal”?
So he believes Pence would be a better president?
Democrats are always bad when it comes to hyperbole but they go over the top with in large part Trump because they know their GOP “friends” hate him every bit as much as they do and they will not counter punch. Spygate, impeachment, etc. The do-nothing GOP is never on Trump’s flanks when needed most.
