Their loyalty is to a. the bottom line for the quarter/year/whatever, and b. meeting the criteria to maximize their own bonuses; long-term health and stability of the business itself be damned.
Does it really surprise anyone that the favorable view of socialism, or at least socialized health care, is on the rise when things like this get out into the public view?
I've worked with LOTS of top execs in energy and tech and that was never my experience. The men and women always amazed me with their depth of knowledge of products, manufacturing, distribution, promotion, the competitive landscape, engineering, contract law.
Yes, I do understand that.
But I also know that socialism is not the answer because nothing changes for the elite.
