I learned a little while ago that someone tested + for this virus who sits close to where I do. I tend to think more about the non-pretty parts of work and buildings/logistics, so this is on my mind.

In early Feb., I changed seats because this one guy to my left was coughing and sneezing like nobody’s business-and he was doing this in my direction. I had thought it a case of a parent bringing the child’s illness to work week.

At another place, I was embarrassed but felt it necessary to roll my chair over to a corner when some people started coming around who were obviously sick and even said so. I was/am quite determined not to bring any illness home, having had a couple of instances of double pneumonia in the house in the past.

To my knowledge, execs don’t know what all they’re going to do. Open seating is all the rage. It doesn’t work.

Do you think there are 330 million test kits available

How on Earth do we even process 330 million tests in a timely fashion? What's the time delay with receiving the test results, and how accurate are they?

"Gov. Beshear of Kentucky said recently that he would not lift lockdowns as long as one life could be saved."

Brassiere is surrounded by May 1 states. Encircled. One of his state neighbors has already quietly rolled back restrictions on liquor stores (you can go back inside now, as of today), and free-standing garden/produce sales (April 27).

When those Kain-tucks on the border lose customers to restaurants, events, bars, boating, camping, on the other side of border, Raggedy Andy will capitulate.

People who haven’t been tested for COVID-19 cannot argue that they are not spreading it around when they mix with people.

Ideally, the country should have been ready to test people on day one, people wearing appropriate masks until they’ve been tested.

PDJT has already mentioned that will be rebuilding FDA, CDC, medical support and drug industries like he has rebuilt military.

Send “Orange Man Bad” federal and state government Democrats and RINOs home in November!

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping COVID-19 will effectively give fast-working Trump a third term in office imo.

MAGA, also KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)

Fauci disagrees with the “lets test all 330 million Americans” stance.

Yes. He wants 330 million Americans to stay at home, and keep the economy closed.

In contrast, Taiwan keeps their economy open by testing everyone.

You roll it out city by city, or region by region. As Trump himself has said, we can’t turn everything on all at once. But we got to start the process.

Obviously, the ultimate goal of mass testing is doable - we did mass polio and smallpox vaccination - it’s simply a logistical matter of how it gets done.

So by the time you are done testing one city the results of the other is no longer valid. It would take weeks to test one city of millions of people. And i’m sure the rest of the nation would wait patiently for their turn to come months or years down the line. What you propose is simply not rational or doable

Ultimately, it will be businesses they require the testing of prospective customers and job-applicants. They’re already talking about how this would work - sport executives say they’ll quick-test people before letting them into stadiums, for example.

You’re “can’t do” attitude sounds like Democrats. In fact it reminds me of Dianne Feinstein, who opposed funding for the oil pipeline because “it would take to long” to get it done. As if every major project that’s worthwhile doesn’t require a scale-up in stages.

The most EVIL GOVERNOR in the history of my state...BY FAR. Occasionally (not always) the camera captures the face of the psychopath...

It’s hard to hide the EVIL oozing out of Whitmer’s face...the ZERO compassion face...Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer, Hillary,Manson, Bundy, Khomeini, (my current acquaintance Ron) etc., etc.
1. Face 2. Words 3. Deeds

If the face escapes you, check the words. It they escape you check the deeds. If you miss all 3 you may be enslaved, raped or dead.

And no, I don’t think that’s an impossible task for the US of A, if it were prioritized.

Do you realize that China refused to cooperate with US companies by providing the virus strain? That the FDA had rules in place that precluded the quick development of tests? That Trump got the FDA to relax those rules? Every friggin Monday morning QB that has an opinion, does so with hindsight, and yet they still forget (or are ignorant of) the timeline and the facts that were known at the time decisions were made and actions were taken.

Its disgusting to see President Trump criticized the way he has been. He held up his end of the bargain, while many of the states dropped the ball. I could go on and on, but to some, facts just don't matter. Getting a pound of political flesh is all that matters - and it disgusts me.

That was my point to the people bitching that the President didn't act quickly enough, or didn't focus on testing enough. If you could test a million people a day, it would take 330 days to test everybody. In the interim, how many re-tests would have to take place? And this doesn't even take into consideration the previously existing FDA rules which limited the development of tests for this virus. I said previously, because the President got the FDA to relax those rules so that US companies could develop tests for this virus.

you ran away from my reply to the same statement of yours on a different thread. There is no way you can test 60k people on their way i to a stadium. I’m not waiting in line 15 minutes for each member of my party to be tested before going into a restaurant. And that’s if they are caught up on the tests of the people before me. I’m not letting some amateur stick my finger several times a day before going into a store. What you suggest is not rational or possible. So stop posting multiple threads on how testing will solve the problem. It won’t
