At this point Fauci owns the fact that he has generally stood in the way of hydroxychloroquine being used by insisting on double blind, random testing.
At this point Fauci owns the model predicting 200,000 deaths.
At the end of the day, when this covid infection finally settles down, Fauci will look like a bumbling idiot who was unable to think outside of the box and Trump will come out smelling likie a rose and look like a really smart guy.
Trump fully understands the gross incompetence among government employees. For him to eventually clean house in the government he needs to let these hapless bureaucrats show their incompetency to the world.
We can’t wait another six months with stay at home orders. Doing what we are doing is going to kill many people by destroying our economy. Our healthcare system is being devastated. People are going to start dying of simple things like pneumonia, strep, abscessed teeth, etc etc. This will happen because they won’t seek treatment until it’s too late.

I agree with you — we can’t wait six months.
However, I aslo stand by everything I said. HCQ & Zn should be given to anyone infected — but, until it’s proven effective it is not the key to ending the lockdowns. It is simply too risky.
The key to ending the lockdowns early is exactly what Trump is planning to do. Test everyone in health care. Test anyone who might be infected. Test anyone who has been in contact with an infected person. Test, test, test. Return to (near) normal, where numbers warrant.
Those of us in the high risk category will likely have to continue self isolating — for a couple of extra months probably.
Agreed. He is mentally unbalanced and does not want this to end. He would prefer to extend this farce indefinitely so he can remain relevant and in the limelight.
