Especially with how relaxed vote by mail (absentee) voting has become. You don't even have to be the voter to turn in the ballots. You can literally carry stacks of them to the polling location and drop them in the box, mail them in or however you like.

The Gore campaign in FL had armed forces ballots sent in from overseas disallowed because there wasn’t a post office stamp. Thought they would break for W. AFO’s don’t have stamps. so not only can they add votes they can subtract them too.

Keep in mind Wikipedia presents the leftist point of view, but the article shows many states, in particular Democrat-controlled ones, resisted giving any data to the commission.
Then you have the California ballot harvesting scam. That’s potential fraud on an entirely different level. Even if there is zero fraud regarding harvested ballots, it changes elections into a competition between which groups can harvest the most ballots.
The Gore campaign’s denial of armed forces votes is something I will never forgive or forget. This was while they falsely claimed they only wanted every legitimate vote counted. They lied!
