The entire story is 100% Bullshit, including this. They were deliberate conspirators, not hard working patriots duped by Russia disinformation.The point is that they knew it was disinformation. These footnotes are prior to FISA warrants in which they certified (Read swore under oath) that the information was true, accurate, and verified.
The declassified footnotes prove that they lied under oath to spy on an elected president. There is no covering up for that.
