Far more Americans approve of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s handling of coronavirus than President Donald Trump’s, according to a Fox News poll published Thursday.
Fifty-one percent of people polled approve of Trump’s response to coronavirus, while 77% percent of respondents approve of Fauci’s.
Trump’s approval rating hit 49%, up two points since February. Fauci’s approval has also declined 3% since last month.
Vice President Pence’s approval ratings are slightly higher than Trump’s in the Fox poll, with 52% of Americans approving of his response, down from 55% in March.
Trump’s approval rating numbers took a dip in March as coronavirus continued to spread. But recent polling for the president has been trending upwards. (RELATED: Latest Harris Poll Has Some Good News For President Trump On Coronavirus Response)
A poll from Politico published Wednesday indicated that more Americans trust Trump to handle the virus than former Vice President Joe Biden. Other polls show that more people support the president’s response to coronavirus than the media’s.

The fact that this is even a question tells you all you need to know about the polling.
No not really, Democrats almost all give Him more credit and there are likely some Independents who do the same. So just pure math on this suggest this is likely to be the case.
The Depression would be a real new American order of totalitarian rule over a third world population that is declining due to much shorter life expectancy and probably famine as the price of everything is out of 90% of people's reach. The meek acceptance of the present situation suggests that the 400 million guns we own will all stay in their gun safes as we argue about how long to remain "locked down."
Trump is smarter than that and somehow I don't think he relishes the job as American Stalin and Fauci bdeing a dyed in the wool bureaucrat will trim his own sails to whatever breeze has come from the White House.Whatever DJT does, Fauci will trim his rhetoric to the new situation. Fauci and Birx were dead wrong om their computer modeling, whichi called for between 1 million and 2 million US deaths bythe end of April.
The prediction is now around 600,000 deaths tops.

I have a suggestion; The model over anticipated deaths because it did not include the effect of,the surreptitious untracked use of Hydroxy-Chloroquine by physicians all over the country. Big Pharma did not want it tracked. Fauci did not want it tracked , neither did Birx.The President made it available to everybody, along with other newer therapies suck as Remdesivir..
