You're darn right Big Pharma is spinning.

Didn't take them long to start their postering and screaming.

I wonder just how many in Congress are on the PhRMA payroll, in some way, or another.

This whole 80% of our vital Rx meds being Made in China STINKS to high heaven....and, these guys are fighting tooth and nail to keep it there.

God bless Navarro for calling them out.

We may “buy American”, but at least in Massachusetts we aren’t going to “save American” in preference over illegal aliens:

President Donald J. Trump from moving the production of our essential medicines and medical equipment and supplies to the U.S.

China really screwed itself with coronavirus. Their only play to avoid the damage went up in smoke when they hid what was going on and exported it all over the world. Their PR campaign will do nothing to change the fact, their place in the world has changed drastically.

All Trump has to do is impose tariffs on precursor chemicals and pharmaceuticals and that’s all she wrote. The Big Pharma lobby can go pack sand.

They will push back hard, but that presents opportunity. Walmart has started producing its own milk, it could buy or start new drug packaging businesses as well. As could CVS, Walgreens, etc.

All I ever hear is how much it costs to bring a drug to market.
How much do they spend on advertising and lobbyist ?

I can just picture the Martin Short tobacco lawyer character from SNL being for big pharma. I wish Martin would bring that character back for a big pharma drug sketch. “Is it me or is it him? It’s him right?”

To stop the return of manufacturing of products back to the US that went to China. China backers are using that Trump alleged stock ownership claim as a controlling interest in a product they claim to be totally ineffective when used to treat a disease created to create a severe restriction of movement known as a shutdown because of its transmission .

Wal-Mart and CVS? Wait until Amazon decides to manufacture pharms. Besos could make another fortune. At least until the next Obama decides he’s made enough.

It will never happen. The media, and thus SNL, are too beholden to Big Pharma advertising.

They’re full of crap and just worried about losing their precious cheap labor. Issue the executive order. The Democrats won’t dare oppose it. The public will completely support this.

Big pharma will start backing the enviro-nazi groups that forced chemical manufacturers offshore in the first place. The incessant lawsuits will keep manufacturing bound up for years and cost them fortunes.
