If Fauci continues to refer to HCQ/Z-Pac/Zinc successes as anecdotal, he may slow roll the cure, keep the death rate up to model expectations, and kill off a market that wants to explosively go up.

This is a good sign. Everything he has said so far has been exactly bass ackwards.
Fauci should have never been in these briefings. He is a scientist and has no clue about speaking to broad audiences while factoring in political and public morale considerations. He should be kept behind the scenes as one of many advisors.
Things weren’t the same for air travel after 9/11 either. But even though things changed we got back to normal. Same thing will happen here. Strong people adapt and move forward. That’s the message we need to hear.
Fauci knows that when things get back to normal, he won’t be on TV as much.

What is NORMAL?
Yeah. Fauci shouldn’t be up there talking in the press room. At the same time, we need to face the facts. What if the second wave is coming? Will we have a vaccine before then? (Unlikely) Are we willing to destroy the economy like this to save American lives?
Life in America before March 2020 is my definition of “normal”.

I am curious. What was the speech Hillary made that brought him to tears? I feel like fauci is pretty much a smart tool like a kiss ass screwdriver. Useful at times.
Announce that on April 30 when America returns to “normal”. Allow the virus burn itself out and prepare our hospitals for the 2nd and potentially worse wave, is what I would do here.
One thing that would not surprise me would be the sudden disappearance of Comrade Xi. I have to wonder if everyone in high places in China approves of his conduct and the rather obvious non-random nature of this event. Trump may be letting the experts talk until the people are tired of listening and now demand to get back to work, and he tells the experts that the people have spoken, that risk is part of life, regardless of the models. I believe he is doing this so publically for a reason.
