Look to Sweden for the answer to your question. Alone in the EU they have adopted the “herd immunity” theory. It will not end well for them.
I commented elsewhere that I still stand by South Korea’s strategy. They are not as nonchalant as Sweden but they are nowhere near as draconian as Europe and the U.S. They are doing widespread testing and quarantining, tracing and tracking the sick. They are placing very few if any restrictions on what the healthy can do. It is absurd to waste resources trying to control the entire population when resources are as tight as they are.
