Not sure. He mentioned the statistics in a press conference. I would guess the number of cases reported by each state’s health department and multiply that by the infectious ratio which is 2.5. Each person infects 2.5 people in 2 weeks so I guess you can make an estimate off that.

well it does seem highly contagious...even more so than the regular flu. But from what I've heard/read, they are going by computer models. You know, the same type of thing that predicted an Ice Age in the late 70s, predicted glaciers completely melting away in the 2000s, and predicted heat so extreme that humans will have to live underground (I believe that was the theme in the 90s). We've also seen predictions regarding hurricane strengths that were suppose to be 'off the charts' and destroy everything only to see some of those hurricanes dissipate before striking the coast or veering away altogether.

Today, it was predicted that Missouri will see 1200 dead; we have 14 dead so far.

We will see.
