I believe he said he is on steroids to reduce the swelling but they reverse some of the chemo. One step forrward, two back. Sounded as if they were looking into other chemo treatments to try.
Steroids is about it. I had breast cancer and went through chemo. Turned out I had an allergy to one of the drugs in the cocktail. They just treated the side effects and kept on with the chemo. Before my chemo treatment I would receive a pre bag full of steroids, anti nausea, etc. etc. I had a bunch of weird stuff happen to me during chemo. I woke up one morning with what looked like burns up and down the inside of my arms. When I showered it burned so bad I cried. Doc said....holy crap! I’ve never seen anything like this before. We need pics!! Then gave me another massive dose of steroids to counteract it.
