Fauci has been one of the main causes of the panic that has led to so many unwise decisions. At the very start, this 79 year old man - who is not a specialist in any of these issues, to my knowledge - was out there screaming that 100,000-200,000 Americans would die, blah, blah, blah. He seems to have backed off that, but he is still a loose cannon who would say anything to get attention, and of course, he has the attention of the press (which is spreading panic as fast as it can).
I’m hoping he wasn’t at the briefing because he’s gone for good.

When I was in high school in the 60’s, I asked my congressman, Watkins Abbitt for copies of the congressional record. As I read thru portions of it, I thought Bob Dole was the dumbest person in Congress. The reason was he was asking the same question over and over in committee hearings. The more I read the record, I came to realize he was wording the question different every time he asked to make sure he was getting a consistent response. I have carried that through life and it helped we weed out the BS.
