They should have a sign at the entrance of the White House Press Room: “Please Check Your Personality Disorder at the Door.”.....Either that or Dante’s epochal “Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate”—“Abandon hope all ye who enter here.”
The assorted paleo-virtue signalers and candidates for anger management training that comprise the White House press corps have, as if it were possible, humiliated themselves more than ever, almost beyond recognition.
To say they are more interested in scoring points against the president than eliciting information or even improving the precarious health and economic situations of their fellow Americans is close to the understatement of the year.
(Not that it matters. Calling someone a “racist” these days is about as meaningful as calling a classmate “doo-doo head” in nursery school.)
What is interesting is that many of the more extreme questions that are short on content but long on hostility come from the well-paid representatives of the television networks—ABC, NBC, and CBS. These companies received their prominent positions in the press room and, more importantly, on our television screens, decades ago.
....It may be time to revisit the preferences given to these networks that tend to mirror each other in ways that are inherently anti-democratic. Do they have those positions into perpetuity? Why?

Just ban them. To hell with thier rights! Stage a room called “the press” with a big ass TV, and a sign that says “ for the health of the President, you are restricted”. Then the actual room called “journalists only” and only let in people known for asking intelligent questions. Also call it a “journalist conference” rather than “press conference” . May only be 2 in the room, but at least its better than this Romper Room full of dullards.
Just hearing the end of today’s briefing right now. This author is so spot on it’s not funny.
Not funny at all that the American “press” are entirely indifferent to the well being of Americans.
The problem with the question was that it was a two-parter. In the first question, Alexander accused Trump of being too optimistic and therefore misleading the public. Trump gave a long, informative answer to that. The second part implied that Trump wasn’t doing enough to calm the people.
The whole thing amounted to a ridiculous non-sequitur. To paraphrase: Don’t you think you’re being too positive and not scaring the people enough; and BTW, what are you doing to calm everyone down?
Naturally, the MSM (even here in Canada, where we shouldn’t be partisan about American politics) simply reported the last question, and Trump’s response.
I enjoy The Epoch Times....found it a few months ago and was impressed with the authors/writers etc. writing style. I can always find interesting articles.
Alexander knew what he was doing....they’re like vultures in that room, with a few exceptions.
If you’re not yet reading The Epoch Times I’d recommend it. Several good authors write and their format is great. Hopefully it won’t change but time does always tell.

(That last half covers a lot of questions he gets!)
