“Like people in their 40s and 50s can’t have underlying health issues”

I suspect a 40 year old with high blood pressure probably doesn’t care a whole lot about the value you place on his life. No one should.

What an ignorant thing to say. There are lots of people who die every day. They range from newborn to 100+. Their dying was not meant to be a callous statement, as you so snidely try to imply, it means that those who have underlying conditions are going to have a much harder time recovering. But that is true with a lot of medical maladies they may encounter. He makes it seem that healthy 40 & 50 year olds are succumbing to the virus. I'm suggesting that something else is most likely in play. This couple have no ties to healthcare or these people dying, so they do not have the knowledge to provide implications that the virus was the sole cause for their deaths.

People with aids die of various different causes, because their deficient immune system is inadequate to overcome what is attacking their body. Aids indirectly kills them by weakening their immune system. People do not die of aids, they die of something else.
