A Missouri lawmaker said he has never experienced so much”vitriol” and “hate” as he has faced after introducing a bill against drag queens reading to children in public libraries.
Republican Missouri state Rep. Ben Baker’s bill, which seeks to ban Drag Queen Story Hour in public libraries, has been met with opposition from local librarians, the American Library Association, Drag Queen Story Hour defenders and LGBTQ proponents.

the fact that rather then giving coherent argument to why banning Drag Queen story hour is bad, you get death threats from those who support this activity should give people pause. the reason for the death threats is that this activity is feeding a sexual fetish of those adults that participate. the strong reaction is the type you get when taking away an addict’s dopamine hit or the reaction you get when dumping a alcoholics last bottle of booze down the toilet.
Anybody remember the library Bible Study hour for the kids? Nope? Me neither.
Well, he’s dealing with some of the core of the mentally ill and socially unstable elements of the gay movement problem. The open pedophilia needs to be shut down so hard they never peek out in the light of day for a few centuries. Until that happens, yeah - the death threats, the murderous attempts and the horrific pedophile attacks and attempts on innocent children will continue until the monsters are defeated.

logically, yes, but the vice grip of social justice that permeates public libraries today has completely eroded the flimsiest of pretences of local control...in short, parents count for nothing other than donations and making sure the kids don’t run around the library screaming like banshees...
I still think parents have the choice to stay at home or to take their children to activities other than “Drag Queen Story Time” at the library.
