Wouldn’t that be $1.53M per person?

Think of it as a fractional problem. 500M / 327M = approx 1.53
The 'M' on the top is cancelled by the 'M' on the bottom. I was a paid math tutor in college, and had to explain math like this to college students. Don't feel so bad about it.

This is what depressed me. A dollar and 53 cents won’t buy a short beer much less a new fishing boat. Bloomberg is a cheap SOB and a has been midget. Brian Williams is an idiot. I’m still gonna fish off the bank. They can kiss my bait bucket. :)

LOL, I don’t feel bad about it...I still don’t get it.

No matter how many zero’s I use, the answer is always 1.53.

500/327= 1.5290
5000/3270= 1.5290

Then there’s 500m-327m= 173.
173 would have been the amount left over.
173/327= 0.5290
