My suggestion...suspend all incoming international flights for 30 days
Hey...just saying that schools do have pandemic plans and some of that involves tele-teaching. Look, the chances that you are going to die from Covid-19 are anywhere from 2.1-4.6 percent. Higher if you are 80+ closer to 15%.
I don’t make the rules. If towns are shut down due to a real or imagined pandemic what do you want me to do? I don’t plan on running around with my hair on fire...Hopefully I will have a fair season this Spring...but will people come to the fair with bugs potentially floating around? So I loose thousands there...If the fear continues into the summer...that’s more money lost....
Once pallative medications are available, then the fear will be greatly relieved. Life will start getting back to normal...(supply chain notwithstanding)
The good news is that Remesdivtar (sic) is undergoing Phase III trials. That is good news. Not a vaccine, but a very good cure.
But go ahead and keep making ostrich sounds. Myself, I am going to keep washing my hands and for now staying up here in the hills and avoid super spreaders of nonsense like you...
Other countries are doing just that!
Your thoughts on those 25,000 who’ve died from influenza in 2020 alone in the US? Is 25,000 deaths a pandemic?
Annually 650,000 die of influenza worldwide, and I’ve never seen people fall to pieces like we’re seeing over the 3,000 (2,711) who’ve died from COVID-19.
This is mass hysteria, and it is far more troubling than Coronavirus.
Thank you...very good post!
You are aware, most of the people who’ve contracted COVID-19 recover...right?
Think what happens to their economies when they have to shut down the casinos.
I’m pointing out that far more people have died, and are dying from influenza, and not a word about that from the COVID-19 Groupies!
Where’s the compassion from you nuts about the greater number of people dying from influenza?
I know it doesn’t fit your hysterical narrative, but most people who contract this are recovering! Hence only less than 3,000 deaths from Coronavirus. You almost seem disappointed!
The “homeless” will spread this everywhere.
Too bad that government didn’t move to eliminate this major public health threat when they could have.
You are clueless. But, you are a troll so you don’t actually care to educate yourself. It’s obvious what you are now and not worthy of any further responses.
Because this is 10-20 times more deadly than the flu and is much more communicable.
Actually most haven’t, only a small percentage have recovered. A substantial number are still sick weeks after they got it.
Most people recover from the flu too...yet you keep bringing up the flu death count vs COVID-19. The non-China/Iran #’s for COVID-19 indicate that it results in 2-7x more “serious” cases (hospitalized/intubated) than the regular flu. If it becomes endemic in the US that means well over a million hospitalized and 120 thousand deaths per year.

....
Hmmm, it’s “more deadly” yet more people are dying from influenza! Sorry, but numbers don’t lie!
Some may still be sick, but most are recovering! This us why there’s less than 3,000 deaths!
You guys almost seem disappointed there aren’t more Coronavirus deaths.
Only one problem...PEOPLE ARE NOT DYING EN MASSE FROM COVID-19! They are however dying in large numbers from influenza!
You folks just cannot seem to grasp this fact!
“endemic” The idiots don’t understand big words like that. Might need to explain in more detail. Not that it matters to the trolls and the teens using their dad’s FR account.
Fairfield is less than an hour from SF.
