Former President Obama's attorneys say they plan to file a cease-and-desist letter over a pro-Trump group's television ad in South Carolina that attacks former Vice President Joe Biden by using a portion of Obama's book
Obama is also demanding that all South Carolina television stations immediately stop running the ad from the Committee to Defend the President, which is aimed at supporting President Trump's reelection bid.
The ad uses excerpts from Obama's 1995 memoir, "Dreams from My Father," in an effort to get the attention of black voters in the state.
"Joe Biden promised to help our community. It was a lie. Here's President Obama," the ad says at the beginning.
It then uses a passage from Obama describing how the black community had been wrongfully treated in the past.
"Plantation politics. Black people in the worst jobs. The worst housing. Police brutality rampant. But when the so-called black committeemen came around election time, we'd all line up and vote the straight Democratic ticket. Sell our souls for a Christmas turkey," Obama says in the recording.
"This spot is a fraudulent use of President Obama's voice," Obama senior adviser Eric Schultz told CNN

Sounds like it’s accurate, that’s why they are howling so loudly.
Trump should subpoena Bill Ayers and ask him under oath if he ghostwrote the book.

I suppose then they can go to court and try to convince people it’s being used in a legally fraudulent manner.
Like to see them prove that.
It’s called ‘fair use’.
Trump is setting them up. He wants to take Obama’s deposition and file some motions to produce documents (aka discovery).
He’s not afraid of their lawsuit.

At least it is not an endorsement for Biden from Obama. Wish it was because it would be a kiss of death on the Biden campaign

I can’t stand to see his name.... he is the epitome of the stuck up elite swamp that has been corrupting everything in Washington and everything they touch.... and thinking how smart they are to belong to this “elite group” and getting by with crimes...
I hope the hand of the law comes down on all of them!!!!!!! if it doesn’t, they will just get worse!
If they go to court the message of blacks being on the Dem plantation will reach more people nationally than a series of campaign ads that end next week in SC ever would.
Why are they wasting their money? Joe’s not going to be the nominee.
Political ad wordings are protected, or so I was led to believe.
