It was designed to be a pleasant shopping mall and departure dining environment.

I used to fly through it all the time on U.S.

Then US Airways declared PHL their hub. Mistake!!! The comparison between the two in operations, weather, traffic and hospitality was night and day.

PHL was and still is a horrible airport to travel through.
