Thanks for the advice.

More questions. Can I bring a disposable folding chair and back pack? I’ll dump them before security.

Yes. That was in my second post to you. If someone came with you, then one of you can take items back to your vehicle, if it makes sense, depending on the parking situation, or you can ask the folks in line to save your place, and you can put things up, or just leave them someplace and hope for the best.

The line will move almost constantly in a start and stop manner, as organizers will be compressing the line into multiple bodies wide up front. It will likely be almost everyone single file in the back 2/3rds of the line, as this is just human nature.

I was going to camp out, overnight, but my brother had to work, otherwise I would’ve had a way to secure my more valuable property like a sleeping bag and tent. Parking outside the fairgrounds in the neighborhood wasn’t allowed, so a strategy for securing their gear was an issue for everyone overnighting.

There should be a Jumbotron near the security portals, broadcasting until the doors open, so if you get in line early enough, you’ll have that for entertainment. I was 3/4 of a mile away at all times while it was showing FOX? When the doors open, a list of prohibited items appeared on the giant screen.
