The 2020 Dems' Responses to Bloomberg's Defense of Capitalism Should Terrify All of Us
PJ Media ^ | 02/20/2020 | Paula Bolyard

No one would blame you if you thought Trump's rally in Arizona on Wednesday would be infinitely more entertaining than the Democrat debate in Las Vegas. Alas, you'd have been wrong. In what can only be described as a demolition derby—with a bunch of amped-up Yugos crashing into each other, over and over again, until engine fires forced the drivers out onto their roofs while sirens blared—Democrats took to the stage to eviscerate one another and pave the way for Trump's reelection.

It was something to behold. From the first question to the last, candidates viciously attacked each other—relentlessly with malice aforethought. If you missed this ah-ma-zing spectacle, click over to VodkaPundit's drunkblog for the play-by-play. Bloomberg, who made his debate debut in Las Vegas, was the second-biggest loser of the night, proving that money isn't everything and it most definitely cannot buy you charisma or debate skills.

I say he's the second-biggest losers because the real loser was our way of life in America. Not only did Dems unselfconsciously brag about their Marxist/socialist plans, but they displayed their utter contempt for capitalism. When Bloomberg tried to defend the economic system that has raised more people out of poverty than any system in the history of the world, the other candidates on the stage groaned—and many in the audience booed.

"This is ridiculous," Bloomberg exclaimed in response to Bolshi Bernie Sanders attacking capitalism. "We're not going to throw out capitalism. We tried that. Other countries tried that. It was called communism and it just didn't work."

Bloomberg is right, but his fellow Dems weren't having it. Did you hear the groans? They tell you all you need to know about the crowd of Marxists-disguised-as-Democrats assembled on the debate stage Wednesday.

uhh….no, we haven't Mike. Your lack of knowledge of history is almost as disturbing as the Bolshevik zeal of the others.

Todays Democrap party is a result of 8 years of Bath house Barry, his "fundamental transformation" of which just that alone serves to classify him as the worst President in US history. Now we got these mega-assholes one election away from throwing us into a 3rd world hellhole while that b*tch and his man-wife live it up on Marthas vineyard

I don’t exactly blame Bloomsberg for not speaking out much with the idiots flinging their mud on that stage, nor before the equal ding-a-lings in the audience. I give him a pass therefore....

Good for Bloomberg.

He’s still an opportunistic idiot.

What we are seeing is who are domestic enemies are,how well they are entrenched and how certain actions are going to be justified.

Is it too early to be terrified of 2024?

True. But he did call out the communist and defended capitalism so I’d like to see him stay in the race for a while at least

He said stuff I would never expect a democrat to say whether they are disguised as an independent or a guy who’s all over the place like blooming idiot

I gotta confess that I watched about half of the demonRAT screamfest and was highly entertained.

Fake Indian, queer war 'hero', nagging nurse karachet, jeff bezos older NY brother, and some guy that couldn't remember why he was there {or where there was} and an old communist that was using this campaign to steal a coupla million more bucks.

What a crew.

Moooooochelle gotta be warming up with the bulls in the barn yard.

I think he was caught off guard by just how insane the left is now. Last time he held office he was a Republican and was use to dealing with that party, debating other Republicans. Now he probably feels like someone who mistakenly committed himself to a mental ward. I say he cuts his losses and bows out pretty soon not because he is polling low but because he now sees the psychopaths he would be dealing with in that party. Wait till gets Pelosi or AOC shrieking in his ear, he’ll be like Charleton Heston in Planet of the apes “It’s a mad house! A maaad hoooouse!”

I don't think he meant we as a country, but more like we as the world. He's thinking on a global level, which isn't very comforting.

It was the one thing that came out of Bloomberg’s trap that was actually right..like what the bloody hell is wrong with these people, they want Communism?? seriously, something that has killed MILLIONS of people that is what they want?? Bloomberg should have asked “OK those here on stage, raise your hand if you want COMMUNISM” I want to see who raises their hand

Id actually feel sorry for Bloomberg if he didn’t go off on his “Trump is the worst President in US History” really Mikey, that is not what you said a few years ago, when you said how much you love him and respect him

We have all become witness to the "Theater of the Absurd", now called the Democrats.
But the Marxists don't exist only on the stage, but also in the audience (!). Many don't remember when the DemocRATS booed the name and inclusion of "God"
in their party platform at their convention.
That issue alone, told me of their immoral political transition.

Is it too early to be terrified of 2024?

My fear is 2028 and beyond. Unless we somehow find a way to reach young people (and fast), demographics are going to overwhelm us with a socialist tidal wave at the polls.

My concern for 2024 frankly is that with the breakneck speed at which this country is becoming socially liberal, will an ultra-traditional guy like Mike Pence still be viable?
