We have no Winn Dixies in our area .... (sob!). There is a smaller market (Tom Leonard’s Farmer’s Market) that has good meat, but quite expensive. I also buy fat, tongue & marrow/soup bones from a farm that has grass fed pork/beef & pastured chicken. Unfortunately, I cannot afford their beef/pork steaks/roasts, etc. .... pork loin is $8/lb .... I can get it for $5 less at Walmart, & then another $3 off that at Aldi’s. I wish I could afford the grass fed animals, but I have to do the best I can with what I can afford.

Well, if you were like me, you could raise your own.
Well, I keep saying that, but the only thing I’ve had is chickens. And I got rid of them.
But now that I’m fully retired, I plan on it. Two cows. Two pigs. 5 chickens. two turkeys.
Eat the babies.
Anyway, I keep saying.
I’m a procrastinator.
