I think the second time was because a bunch of Saudis under the people in Afghanistan gave W an excuse to invade the Islamic countries of his choice, and he thought it better to invade Iraq than Saudi Arabia.

We haven’t fought a war to win since WW2. And even then we should have continued and taken out the Soviets even if we had to have help from the Wehrmacht.
