My thinking is that Nanzi was opposed to impeachment as a losing proposition, but once her lunatic base insisted on it, she had to gussy it up with black and gold pens and all the rest. And she exploded with rage at the end of the SOTU speech, in public, with cameras rolling, for all the world to see.
