Kravis was Obama’s Deputy White House counsel! This is insane.

Didn't they need 16 SWAT guys to arrest him?

Stone's lawyers have asked the judge to give their client probation instead of prison time.

Seems reasonable for a process crime.

Why are these prosecutors obsessed with making sure this man dies in prison for what are effectively process crimes based on a hoax investigation?

Good question.

Mine is, that, since this investigation is the fruit of the poisoned tree (faulty FISA warrants), why is the prosecution even pursued?

I can think of two answers:

First, it's like Martha Stewart. Even if the original basis for the investigation is questionable, they feel as if they have to prosecute prominent cases of lying to investigators (Hillary being a notable exception).

Second, the prosecutors on this case are likely Trump-hating holdovers, looking to screw anyone associated with Trump as best they can. I don't know what the accepted etiquette is on stopping runaway prosecutors in mid-case. Surely its been noticed that this has been aggressively pursued from its beginning, including the dead-of-night armed raid of Stone's home that was leaked to and filmed by CNN.

Obama appointees obviously. My two bits says they broke the law in framing Stone and its coming to light.

That's it! If you don't get your way, take your marbles (do they even have marbles?) and go home.

A thing or two comes to mind . . .

Your feelings about this serve to support my beliefs about the entire subject of racial pride. "Black pride", "brown pride", etc. make no more sense than their inverse correlations. An individual has no more claim to pride in the accomplishments of others than they have responsibility for the sins of others.

You are an individual, responsible only for your own actions.

Another deep state rat gone, winning. As if Stone deserved 7 years in jail for doing something the rats do in every election.

...

These two are dirty Obama prosecutors. They got caught lying, which is why they are resigning.

Democrats not having a good day. Now a third prosecutor has resigned and Jessie Smollett has been charged by the special prosecutor.

Pardon? How about an exoneration, compensation and rejoining the MAGA team - oh and a freedom medal.

Hmmm. Now who has been their immediate supervisor that approved the harsh sentence recommendation to begin with? They didn’t pull that number out of a hat.

"Another deep state rat gone, winning. "

Only a partial win if these a-holes are still working at the DOJ.

Mueller should have been fired the moment he hired all these Obama lawyers. No POTUS deserves to be investigated by a partisan lynch mob. Trump floated the idea of firing Mueller but the GOP refused to sign off on it. Graham went so far as to author a Mueller Protection Act. So Trump was stuck with Mueller and could do little while his friends/family were assaulted by Mueller and his dirty Democrats.
