ABC News’ “The View” co-host Meghan McCain shot back Thursday when Whoopi Goldberg compared Mitt Romney to the late Sen. John McCain, her father, and told the panel Romney is nothing like her dad.
Goldberg said Romney’s decision to break party lines Wednesday and vote to convict President Trump on one article of impeachment reminded her of another free-thinking Republican.
“I’m just glad somebody stood up and said ‘no,’” Goldberg said. ”I’m going to give faith in him like I gave to your dad.”

Oh, please. There MUST be video of things Whoopi Cushion said about John McCain when he was running for President.
If McCain had somehow become President, Whoopi would have said the same damn things about him that she’s saying about Trump. Guarandamnteed.

He didn't have to wait. They shunned him in 2008 (after all he did for them!). The one thing that McCain, Romney, Flake, and the rest of the "moderates" never seem to figure out. They love the fawning caress of the media as they betray their constituents, until they are no longer useful and are tossed aside. McCain, more than any other craved their love, and would do anything to get it. He was an absolute idiot to continue kissing their feet for approval after the 2008 election.

When McCain was running for Prez, he was not invited to the Opera show only Zero was a guest. I am certain this was the case with The View. Barb Walters was there at the time.
