I really wish people would read your post and really thinking about it. You are 100% correct; and even though Romney voted against the President the fact is that (a) Trump was not going to be impeached so it really didn’t matter, and (b) in other important votes (eg SCOTUS votes) he votes with us. If we lost his seat to a Democrat that would be far worse
If he could be pressured to resign (put the screws on him for his Burisma involvement), governor Herbert could appoint a republican replacement.

But with 53? That reduce us to 52. With Arizona, Maine, and Colorado extremely tough seats in November. Do we really want to hand the senate to the democrats? That is frightening!!!!
Except for this useless vote, what else has he done? What judges did he vote against? What bills that trump wanted did he vote against?

Onward ..... with Mittens a burr under the saddle blanket. BTW, Trump is at the National Prayer Breakfast this morning. He poked Mitt & Pelosi in the eye (without naming names) in almost the same sentence. Said he doesn’t like people who hide behind their religion to do something they know is wrong and he doesn’t like people who say they are praying for you when you know they’re not. Pelosi is at the breakfast, evidently. He looks a little tired and he’s somewhat hoarse, but he’s gotten warmed up & is giving a good speech.
