The Senate on Wednesday voted almost entirely along party lines to acquit President Donald Trump on abuse of power.
On the first of two articles of impeachment, Republican Mitt Romney of Utah voted to convict Trump, along with all Democrats and independents.
Trump is expected to be acquitted in the vote on the second article, obstruction of Congress, in a party-line vote with all Republicans voting to acquit and all Democrats voting to convict

I’m watching and getting more and more pissed every time I hear guilty. Doug Jones is, unfortunately, one of my senators. Not that it will do any good, but I sent him an email expressing my opinion of his vote and that I will be glad to see him voted out of office in November. What a useless, pathetic exercise this was.
The Lefty meltdown should make for some entertaining viewing this evening.

No excuse. Time to expel Romney from the Republican party, and initiate an investigation of his involvement with the Ukrainians.
Romney should join the Moron Tabernacle Choir and just stick with that.
It is a moral requirement for us Latter-day Saints to be honest in all of our doings, and for the Backstabbing Weasel to cite our faith in justifying his vote to convict President Trump, violates this ethical requirement.
There can be no justice when the House impeached the president using 17 witnesses to impeach and not allowing the president to have a single witness or even a lawyer to defend himself.
For the Backstabbing Weasel to ignore that miscarriage of justice shows he’s no better than the Democrats - bereft of moral decency.
