The State of the Union has been a bitter, bipartisan show for going on fifteen years now. I wish they’d just go back to sending a letter to Congress once a year and be done with it.

Because their ‘’raison d’etre’’, their ‘’reason to be’’ is evaporating. One of the most profound reasons Trump is hated by both parties is that he is not just draining the swamp but he's dragged it first. All the things Trump has done for the American people both parties, to a degree the Republican Party but to a far greater degree the Democrats hate him for is because they never solved anything. It wasn't in their interest to do so. Why work yourself out of a job?

Democrats aren't interested in solving problems, their only interest is to create them, by and large and to manage them. This way you raise taxes(’’on the rich!’’). You throw money around, to the right people and of course making sure you take your cut, promise a lot of stuff, run for office all the time and stay in power. This is an anathema to Trump. He's a businessman, a realtor and a builder. You don't get any where in those fields standing still and ''managing'' things. You've signed contracts with clients who expect you to deliver, on time and on the agreed price. If you can't you're over by lunch time and nine other guys are cleaning your plate.

Sometimes the democrats during the speech looked like cartoon characters, and sometimes like a cluster of vultures roosting in a tree.

The dems have treated the minorities as slaves on a plantation in the cities the have controlled for decades. After all the dems are the party of the KKK and white supremacy. They are just made because Lincoln freed their slaves and now they treat the people in their districts like slaves on the plantation. The dems still hate the blacks and other minorities. Why do you think the want more mexicans. they want to treat them as slaves too.

And yet the demonkraps’ vast media wing have asserted for the past 3+ years that it is they who take the “high road” versus [their enemies] and it is Trump who is the responsible for divisiveness.

The demonkrap Michigan governor Gretchen said last night in their response “After all, you can listen to what someone says, but to know the truth, watch what they do.” I agree, and Pelosi showed everyone the truth last night.

She had a scowl on her face all night. Like someone was holding a turd up to her nose. What a picture...I wonder, can someone photoshop that?

I just watched the President’s SOTU speech on youtube. It was the finest example of quintessential U.S. political expression I have ever seen. I found it extraordinary that most democrat politicians would not rise to show appreciation and respect for the guests of the President. It was shameful. The blonde democrat in the blue dress was one of the exceptions. She stood often and showed respect. She should jump ship

Obviously H.R. 3 was pushed thru the house like the impeachment vote and did little to nothing to benefit Americans...
......................
Well if the rat party wants it so bad, that means republicans better be real careful and thoroughly check thru it. I just know that there just has to be all types of bad stuff in it like stopping military money being used to build the wall....
H. R. 3 probably is real nasty bill chock full of destructive and harmful things to the country, and Trump.

On one hand, I agree with going back and send a letter.

On the other hand, in an era of real time media, I would find it difficult for a POTUS of either party to pass up the opportunity because of its political advantages. We got to see clearly that the sore loser demonkraps looked so unhappy and really have nothing of substance to offer to the American people. But for gerrymandered districts, many of them wouldn’t be there.

“It was the courteous thing to do considering the alternative,”

An astute reporter might have then asked her if she still prays for the President.

She didn't stand, applaud or in any way acknowledge Rush when he was introduced and given the Medal of Freedom award.

I would't wish what happened to Rush on anyone but with Pelosi I will make an exception...and the sooner, the better.

It's become nothing but a pitch to the Presidential base. Trump could do better at one of his rallies.

“It was the courteous thing to do considering the alternative,”

Pelosi’s uncontrollable rage is so lacking in self-awareness that her political IQ, to say nothing of her intellectual IQ, must come into question. Machivelli is rolling in his grave.

An astute reporter would have asked her to explain the alternative. The reporter should have delved. There are few astute reporters in America or the world. Most are simply ignorant liberal hacks...which is also a good moniker for Nancy Pelosi...an ignorant liberal demonic hack who does not serve the interests of the United States of America.
