I’ll think about this article every time I hear that unmistakeable sound of glass bottles clanking and breaking when the recycling truck makes its rounds.

I save soda cans...for the grandkids to cash in. Everything else goes in the regular trash unless we have a lot of cardboard from stuff being shipped to us. Then it goes into the recycle can but only because there’s not enough room left in the regular trash can. I don’t work for free.
