The conservative Club for Growth is going after Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) in a new television ad, accusing the first-term senator and former GOP presidential candidate of siding with Democrats in President Trumps impeachment proceedings.
Theres Mitt Romney threatening to vote with Democrats again to trot out spotlight-seeking blowhards who will trash President Trump on the witness stand, a narrator says in the 30-second spot, which is set to begin airing on Fox News on Thursday in Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C.

Excellent post.
Glad I’m not the only one who knows Club for Growth is part of the Cheap Labor Express.
Taking a shot at Romney helps them fool the rubes.
ALL federal offices are not subject to recall.
I cringe to think that I voted for this buffoon back in 2012, but there wasn’t much choice.
And what makes it worse, Paul Ryan was on the ticket.
What a country!
Ditto.
Joe Biden, of all people, made Ryan look like a mental midget.
Bummer! Interesting that the president can be removed but Senators are immune. Time to change that.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot about Rino Ryan.
This is amazing to me. I am pretty sure that in 2016 Club for Growth was not in Trumps camp.
Right, and the "charges" are an attempt to cover-up the scam that is foreign aid and the corruption based on nepotism. Both sides do it and both should be brought down.
Club for Growth was trying to foist Yeb! on us to keep the borders open and the laws unenforced.
They are a major part of the Cheap Labor Express.
If I were Mitch, Id delay the vote until Monday to give groups like Club for Growth a chance to remind Mittens and the crew how difficult they can make their life.
Oh, to be sure there will be ads run by liberal groups. But the diff is that during an election those groups arent going to be supporting Mitt and Susan in any event. But Club for Growth might have.
Yes they were. But for them to have flipped to supporting Trump is a sign of the power this mans actual performance in office has had in converting opponents to allies. America First is a winner.
The five candidates for which the Club will officially bundle campaign contributions are: Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Marco Rubio of Florida; Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker; and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, a leading contender for the nomination who has struggled to gain traction with some conservatives.
