The deadly animal-borne coronavirus spreading globally may have originated in a laboratory in the city of Wuhan linked to China’s covert biological weapons program, said an Israeli biological warfare analyst.
Radio Free Asia last week rebroadcast a Wuhan television report from 2015 showing China’s most advanced virus research laboratory, known the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The laboratory is the only declared site in China capable of working with deadly viruses.
Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese biological warfare, said the institute is linked to Beijing’s covert bio-weapons program.
“Certain laboratories in the institute have probably been engaged, in terms of research and development, in Chinese [biological weapons], at least collaterally, yet not as a principal facility of the Chinese BW alignment,” Mr. Shoham told The Washington Times.
Work on biological weapons is conducted as part of dual civilian-military research and is “definitely covert,” he said in an email.
...Gao Fu, director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, told state-controlled media that initial signs indicated the virus originated from wild animals sold at a seafood market in Wuhan.
One ominous sign, said a U.S. official, is that false rumors circulating on the Chinese internet claim the virus is part of a U.S. conspiracy to spread germ weapons. That could indicate China is preparing propaganda outlets to counter any charges that the new coronavirus escaped from one of Wuhan’s civilian or defense research laboratories.
The WHO is calling the microbe novel coronavirus 2019-nCoV... (Thursday) the organization stopped short of declaring a public health emergency of international concern.
China has deployed military forces to Wuhan to halt all travel out of the city of 11 million people in an effort to contain the outbreak of the virus, which causes pneumonialike symptoms...

When they run out of room and places to hide the bodies ... 90,000 dead 3 days ago according to one report in Chinese.
In this case, Wuhan...a city of 11-million...is effectively shutdown, and no one is leaving/entering. Food shortages will likely start up in the next day or two...unless military steps in and just delivering enough food. But they haven’t exactly shown the capability to perform at that level.
I would suggest by Friday, you might see massive riots going on in Wuhan, and a collapse of that city government in two weeks. Maybe they could bring in some general and offer up martial law, and food deliveries to slide by....until the virus halts.
When the soldiers enforcing the quarantine leave their posts to tend to their own families, China’s communists are definitely finished. I can’t remember the numbers, though... The milestones are based on % infected, not necessarily % dead.

If this is the case then why are there so many knuckle heads on this improve public with their heads in the sand? Timing is too coincidental. We have learned that those on the left and their paymasters I’m really capable of anything and because they have so much money in so many places getting a Communist regime to go along with one of their plans is not a stretch of the imagination it really isn’t.

The Chinese lab is fairly new, only completed in the last few years ... wanna bet another contractor cheapened out on materials?

Wouldn’t be the first time a government lab developed and then released deadly disease. In Siberia, an outbreak of anthrax was blamed on melting permafrost (i.e., climate change). But, was actually due to a Russian biowarfare lab. In the U.S., anthrax-infested letters were blamed on right-wing terrorists. But, was actually due to a research scientist gone mad at Fort Detrick, Maryland.
What was that video of all those excavators digging in a field all about? The media said that they were constructing a hospital to take care of the corona cases. What?
At this point, what difference does it make?
Unless the “bioweapon” comes with a cure—they are deeply screwed. As we are as well.

Read the article. Both of the “experts” they talked with said it was possible but there is no evidence or indication that the virus came from the lab.
In movie, survivors mutated into very light-sensitive albino “family”. News anchor is their leader. Great.
so the bats, rats, snakes, alligators, wolf pups and koalas whose relatives were sold in the seafood market are not guilty after all? that’s a relief.
but I thought there was a world-wide moratorium on developing bioweapons. Silly me.
