Actually, Dershowitz is a ”Neo-Trumper” like Levin. They both started out as never-Trumpers and saw the light. Trump IS a destabilizing force as both Dershowitz and Levin actually predicted what later they would both come to admire.

I too was against Trump in the beginning and voted for Cruz in the primary. I was unsure of his commitment as he had been a Democrat and funded Democrats in the past.

I see him now as one of this country’s greatest and most consequential presidents ever.

Exactly. Dershowitz was late to warm up even slightly to Trump after initially opposing him (and I’ll bet that he still won’t vote Trump in 2020). Victor Davis Hanson was initially anti-Trump and is now a big fan who will almost certainly vote Trump. Half of us on this board were initially skeptical of Trump, including me. I thought he might still be a closet democrat, pretending to be a republican, and I have never been so happy to be so wrong.
