“Since you’re not hanging out in airports, you’re probably better off.”

Was just in Seoul Korea and Bangkok Thailand airports. Both were packed with people.

It’s Chinese New Year. Everyone travels.

I’m in Singapore myself. My point is, if you’re boating down a river, you’re not hanging out in airports, so lower risk of infection.

Yes, I agree. Except for the mosquito born viruses like malaria.

I absolutely love the people here.

I’d stock up on plenty of wet wipes and bottles of liquid hand sanitizer. Take care. Be safe.

Good advice. Wash your hands often, avoid unboiled water, fresh food of any kind, and try to stay out of situations where you’re packed in with other people (like buses and elevators).

I personally wouldn’t go, but not because your destination is Thailand (the numbers are pretty small now), but because you’re going to be packed on a long distance plane ride, twice.

Prion diseases are associated with the build up in the brain (and some other organs) of an abnormal or ‘rogue’ form of a naturally occurring cellular protein, known as the prion protein. The rogue protein results from a change in shape of the normal prion protein. Once formed in the body these rogue proteins recruit and convert more of the normal prion protein into the abnormal form, setting off a kind of chain reaction which leads to a progressive accumulation of the rogue protein. In the normal course of events, once they have served their purpose, prion proteins are broken down by enzymes in the body. The abnormal prions however are more resistant to this process; so they accumulate and cause damage in the brain, which interferes with normal brain functioning. All forms of the disease are thought to be associated with an incubation period. This is a clinically ‘silent phase’ during which replication of the rogue protein is thought to be taking place.

The function of the normal form of the protein remains unclear, though it is thought they may possibly play a role in the transport of messages between specific brain cells (synaptic transmission.)

The spinal neurons are much longer and fewer synapses.

For example, the afferent sensory spinal neuron junctions are with the cell body head in the dorsal root ganglion outside the spine.

A Chinese restaurant in my area was closed down a few years ago because of rats.

It’s now a pizza joint.

Too late now. If it's contagious thru airborne contact, it's going to infect a lot of people, everywhere, and no quarantine will stop it.

People who live all crammed in together, three generations to one small house with poor ventilation, and in highly populated places like China, are at high risk.

Others, especially those who practice good hygiene, maybe not quite so much?

Could turn out like the Spanish flu epidemic of 1918 or worse... or maybe not. Or perhaps the Hong Kong flu of 1968. We don't know right now...

I wonder if all the containers sent here from China every day could carry this virus?

Ooh, my little sniffling one, my sniffling one
When you gonna give me some time, Corona
Ooh, you make my nose run, my nose run
Got it coming down the line, Corona
Never gonna stop, fevered up, such a germy mind
I always get it up, for the touch of the’nfected kind
My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!
M-m-m-my Corona
Come a little closer, huh, a-will ya, huh?
Close enough to infect my eyes, Corona
Transmission’s a mystery, it gets to me
Running down the length of my mask, Corona
Never gonna stop, fevered up, such a germy mind
I always get it up, for the touch of the’nfected kind
My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!
M-m-m-my Corona
M-m-m-my Corona
When you gonna give to me, kerchief to me
Is it just a matter of time, Corona?
Is it d-d-destiny, d-destiny
Or is it just a game…

Fascinating.
In addition, are not prions a part of “mad cow” disease?

Also found:
https://www.drclark.net/en-us/disease-a-protocols/hiv-page/macracanthorhynchus-gold-and-prions

excerpt:

“Pepsin digests free cells of our hypothalamus gland in our blood and lymph. If we do not have sufficient pepsin to digest these, their remains turn into prions. Our white blood cells eat prions promptly. But if our WBCs do not have enough germanium, selenite, and vitamin C, the prions are not killed but escape and enter the brain and nerves. Light headedness and disorientation is felt. That contributes to detox-illness. You can kill them in hours with:

1 tsp. fennel seed (freshly ground), use capsules
1 tsp. sage, organic, (freshly ground)
3 heaping tsp. birch bark (strong prion killer and could be used alone – make tea by simmering it for 5 minutes.
1 Tbsp. sweetener
3 cups water

Add other ingredients to the birch bark tea. Set to cool. Drink 1 to 3 cups a day till symptoms stop. Pepsin also digests prions.”

[From: “The Cure and Prevention of all Cancers”, copyright]

Note: the above author’s information has been reputed to be either controversial or quackery. However, it is of interest. The tea is tasty.
