A bombshell new report is derailing the Democrats' momentum against President Trump on Day One of the Senate impeachment trial.
The article -- in the left-leaning Politico of all places -- on Tuesday night alleges that House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff appears to have “mischaracterized” evidence that was used in House Democrats’ impeachment investigation.
But Republicans are calling the report "soft-pedaling", insisting that Schiff "fabricated evidence" in a naked attempt to "frame" Trump.
Either way, the shocking late-night report has thrown the Democrats' Senate plan into complete chaos.
The stunning report focuses on a letter that Schiff sent to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) last week that summarizes “a trove of evidence from Lev Parnas, an indicted former associate of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani,” Politico reported. “In one section of the letter, Schiff claims that Parnas ‘continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky,’ citing a specific text message exchange where Parnas tells Giuliani: ‘trying to get us mr Z.’ The remainder of the exchange — which was attached to Schiff’s letter — was redacted.”

I consider myself to be rather calm when listening to politicians. Understanding that they exaggerate and use double speak often, I tend to over look their foibles.
However, my patience with Adan Schiff has long ago deserted me. He is really a despicable man. He is totally dishonest, and unfortunately he is rather typical of most Democrats in Congress today.
1. In general, elected politicians are an unimpressive lot who are not qualified to run a convenience store let alone help the nation progress.
2. Politicians are way overrepresented by narcissists who actually NEED to be 'above' the rest of us, and will say and do almost anything to maintain their positions in government.
3. Most politicians could care less about the cohesion of the citizens of the USA, and are conversely more likely to promote conflict in order to advance themselves.
4. Putting a bunch of lawyers in elected office, and having them compete against each other is a horrible idea.
