I’d like to say it is a case of unintended consequences but the Swedish government knew exactly what they were doing. And if not, they’re too stupid to live.

Just sarcasm. But I do remember during one of the Gulf Wars when reporters would say something like “this report was cleared by US military censors”. One would think here that they could say “this report is required to comply with Swedish censorship rules”...because that’s obviously the case...unless they’re part of the game (which they are).
