What lawsuit? Most states are fire at will, and it’s the government that can’t penalize for speech, not a private employer.

Yep, just as I would not want to be forced to retain an employee who made public remarks that substantially disagreed with my values.

A private person or employer should have every right to discriminate in any way they want-—and suffer the consequences of their behavior if people don’t like it.
