Before Robyn Polak attended President Donald Trump's Jan. 14 rally in Milwaukee, she expressed her support for him on Facebook by posting a "MAGA 2020" comment on a news story about the visit.
She said that comment, and possibly a few others like it, got her fired from her job.
Polak, a South Milwaukee resident who was the only dental assistant at Precision Dental MKE, 6203 S. Howell Ave., said someone found out where she worked, went on her employer’s Facebook page and posted a negative review. The person did not recommend the dental office saying “employees spouting [sic] racist comments on Facebook.”
Polak said she didn’t have any interactions with the person who posted the review but was told they had “trolled others before.”
Polak denied she was a racist, saying she has African American siblings and is partially Native American.
“I’m not racist,” she said. “But I am just kind of speechless about all this.”
Company's response
The “Precision Dental MKE” account responded to the review.
“I am so very sorry to have learned that this was posted. We are handling the situation in-house as we speak. I assure you that this office does not share those beliefs,” the response said.
Polak said "handling it in-house" meant she got fired over the phone.

She should have a very lucrative lawsuit coming from this. I can’t believe the dentist is such a thought nazi, nor especially the animal who went to the trouble to look her up and smear her to her employer. This young woman, who was only exercising her rights as an American. Is this China, where you can’t express your opinion freely any more? The dentist should be boycotted for their small minded idiocy, and the animal who started this should be looked up and subjected to punitive action as well.
Hmmm, Maybe he was the guy a group of angry parents chased out of the Park on Sunday after taking pictures of little boys and fondling himself by the fence??

What lawsuit? Most states are fire at will, and it’s the government that can’t penalize for speech, not a private employer.
Maybe everyone should flood his yelp page with negative reviews for his firing of the assistant. Sauce for the goose, eh?
Political belief is not a protected class anywhere. A lawsuit would be DOA. Only certain special protected classes get extra rights not to be fired in our current system.

I was already retired but never updated my profile.
I'm not sure what the basis of any such lawsuit would be. Wisc. is an "at will" employment state and the termination does not appear to be based on any protected class she enjoys. It appears that it is perfectly legal to fire someone in Wisc for their political opinions.
The dentist for hate discrimination.

She needs a GoFundMe with LOTS of donations, a strong patriot lawyer (good luck with that!) and then keep the vermin dentist hot-tied in court.
