I was part WA through before checking the source and seeing it was Iranian professors and not US ones. 6000 anti American US professors would not surprise me.

That said, the responses demonstrate the level of distrust U.S. university faculty have earned considering how intuitive it is to believe U.S. faculty could have been penned by letter.
