I enjoyed the perspective that Regan went along with it, whereas Trump did not. That is why the “Best President Ever” remark.

For the American foreign policy establishment, Trump's refusal to continue their forty-year marriage of policy to delusion is an unforgivable transgression, and a threat. Not only has he committed the crime of rejecting their collective "wisdom," his reality-based policies might actually be working. The threat to them is obvious. If Trump's reality-based policies succeed, he will dismantle their foreign policy legacy. All their protestations of wisdom, all their fancy resumes and titles as former senior officials will lose their allure and market value.

The REAL threat to the pompous members of the American deep state...

A very good article by Caroline Glick. Thanks for posting. HOORAY Chief.

Battling ideologies is way bigger than even Donald J. Trump.

An obvious example is Nidal Malik Hasan.

No justice, no republic.

Yep - President Trump has changed the meme from subjugative appeasement to one of facing the Truth that Evil is real and it is in our interests to oppose it....the Left hates that.

After three years of intense investigations, DJT is proven to be the most honest SOB in DC. He's also the toughest and most rational.

“I enjoyed the perspective that Regan went along with it, whereas Trump did not.”

Even if you believe that perspective (which I do not), I don’t know why you would say you enjoyed it!

In three years, President Trump has already far surpassed any of the other Presidents mentioned in the article, and he may yet surpass Ronald Reagan - we will have to wait and see.

National Defense is a balancing act. Truth-based foreign policy and peace through strength are the main pillars - but a President also needs to sell it to the American people.

Ronald Reagan did that, and Donald Trump is off to a very good start.

After watching Trump grow into his job I believe it is fair to say Trump is Reagan on steroids, or put another way Reagan was Trump light.

What is most amazing about the Presidents successes is he had the steepest of learning curves and had extraordinary opposition every step of the way. Despite this he is/has overcome all the obstacles and is now the most consequential and successful President I have ever witnesses and I am well into my 70’s.

I have deep respect and admiration for Reagan...and I agree with your post.

Trump has taken on numerous “third rails” that none others dared to tackle and he’s knocked them out of the park.

Immigration. Border Wall. Moving our embassy in Israel. Helping our Veterans with the expansion of the VA Act. Slashing regulations. USMCA. NATO. Many more.

Yes, yes and yes and he is just getting started.

You know what I look forward to the most? The book he will write after he leaves office in 2025. I believe it will be the blockbuster to end all blockbusters and will be by far the best selling political novel ever written...and it won’t even be close.

The actual Narrative that has guided US Mid East policy for the past 40 years has been that worm Henry Kissinger’s “Arc of Crisis” ideology. Google it.

And from Ronald Reagan to Barack Obama,,, every president kept faith with Carter’s decision not to hold the Iranian regime responsible for the acts of aggression,,, it carried out against America through proxies.....

While I agree with the overall theme of the author, I disagree with her opinion of Reagan.

I don’t see where Reagan refused to hold Iran responsible. There were contingency plans on the shelf for Iran. He took out their navy when they got out of line.

For the most part Iran was too preoccupied with their war with Iraq to cause much trouble for the US at the time. If they would’ve lost the war, problem solved. Why would the US have gotten involved with that?

Arc of Crisis isn't and wasn't an idealogy, and it was from Zbigniew Brzezinski, not Henry Kissinger.
