UPDATE — 4:50 PM: A CNN spokesperson confirmed to the Cincinnati Enquirer that the network has settled a lawsuit with Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann. Read Breitbart News’s original report below.
CNN has agreed to settle a $275 million lawsuit brought by Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann over the network’s coverage of a confrontation involving himself and his classmates and a Native American man during a school trip to Washington, DC, last year, FOX 19 reported Tuesday.
The terms of the settlement were not publicized during the hearing at the federal courthouse in Covington, Kentucky. Sandmann sought $800 million in damages from CNN, the Washington Post, and NBC Universal. Lawsuits against the latter news outlets are still pending.

I hope the media learns a lesson that such biased and false reports by MSM against the public will not be tolerated.
Hopefully, CNN will lose their insurance carrier or endure debilitating new rates.

I pray that the people who are vicious toward PDJT (like Kathy Griffin -used to be a fan) are wiped out financially and forever. That they realize that their vitriolic bile caused by their hatred of PRESIDENT Donald J. Trump ((although they LOVED him before he became president)) has been their ruin. And that they eventually make conciliatory amends to the people (especially PDJT) they have injured.
The hilarity of this is that because CNN settled first, they will likely get the best deal. Then the power of that money can leverage the other media to cough up far more money.
Undoubtedly, some fool at CNN will leak how much they paid to the other media, which is a violation of the agreement and likely will boost the money owed by a lot.
They will find this out, say when NBC says “Why do we have to pay $50m when they only had to pay $30m.”
“Don’t worry, they will now have to pay $50m too. But you will now have to pay $75m.”
Take it, Nick. Take it ALL.
I would bet he got at least 50 million. The leak will be forthcoming.
