A scapegoat. In the old days millenia ago, all the sins of the tribe would be heaped upon the goat and it would be driven away to it’s death.
Weinstein is sleezy and skeezy, but the way hollywood has turned on him is nothing but hollywood virtue signaling and absolving itself of blame for decades of casting couch moguls, and starlet whores who begrudgingly put out in exchange for a part.
In that sense, he is a scapegoat. We will see no new prosecutions after his. We will be told the “problem” is over.

I almost feel bad for Weinstein - and I stress ALMOST. As bad as the crimes he’s being accused of are, they pale in comparison to some of the crimes committed by the Hollywood and Washington elites that have yet to be revealed. Some of the crimes that Schiff, for example, has been rumored to have committed make Weinstein’s crimes look tame. If some of you are unaware of the rumors about Schiff, do a little searching. Keywords - Standard Hotel. Yes, they’re just rumors but they ring true IMO.
