Nowhere in my post did I comment on what he wrote, only that he is “this writer.” As to your opinion that waiting it out is ill-advised, I agree. It is never a good idea to try to wait out the Left. It is has been a couple of years since I took the LAX Super Shuttle, but if my memory serves me correctly the drivers were employees. They had uniforms, etc..

I never incorporated, as a single-person contractor can file all company forms on their personal 104 (Sched C). But, I had some buddies who did for their app-writing, and I believe Texas's LLC fee was $300. This was 10-ish years ago, but probably a better option than $800, and waaay out in CA or FL.
