Anti-Trump dossier author Christopher Steele testified that he was “absolutely flabbergasted” when BuzzFeed published the dossier after an advisor to late Senator John McCain shared the controversial document with the media outlet purportedly against Steele’s wishes.
That tidbit was buried in a footnote on page 176 of the Justice Department’s recently released 476-page Inspector General (IG) report on the FBI’s Russia collusion investigation. Steele made the remarks about Buzzfeed and the McCain staff member during an interview with the IG.
The relevant footnote relates:
Steele testified in foreign litigation that he did not provide his reports to journalists or media organizations and did not authorize anyone to share them. According to the McCain Institute staff member’s testimony in the same litigation, Steele requested that the staff member meet with BuzzFeed, and that Steele neither requested nor prohibited the staff member from sharing the reports with BuzzFeed. Additionally, the staff member testified that Steele was aware that the staff member was furnishing Steele’s reports to The Washington Post.
Steele told the OIG that he trusted the staff member to handle his reports discretely and that the staff member betrayed that trust. Steele explained that the staff member had spent his career handling sensitive intelligence. Steele also said he understood from a former Ambassador that Senator McCain requested that Steele trust the staff member. Steele said he was “absolutely flabbergasted” when BuzzFeed published his election reports.
The unnamed McCain staff member is known to be David J. Kramer.

Little Linda Grahamnesty is vehemently AGAINST a protracted Senate Trial.
President Trump wants a Trial so he can lay out his case and ALL evidence regarding this Coup Attempt.
Linda is on record DENYING the presidents wishes.
Others are on record wanting a quick dismissal.
Me thinks there is a reason these people do not want a protracted trial where the presidents team can present to the nation the entire ugly truth.
And, I think that reason is, that several RINO’s were IN ON THE COUPE in the early stages when they thought Trump would roll over and say, The Hell With This Shit. And, go back to his prior life.
When he didn’t the entire Swamp went into a panic. Several RINO’s included. And, I believe Linda was right there with McCain and other RINO’s in the beginning of this unConstitutional Coup attempt.

Makes sense. The top RINOs in the deep state fear and loath Trump as much as anyone. Some were all-in on Brennan/Comey’s attempted coup.
Steele knew what he was doing.
Steele leaked it to at least half a dozen media outlets, he knew what would happen.

Spare me! You don’t give raw intelligence about a political opponent to Sen. McCain and expect him NOT to leak it. What was that quote about “giving whisky and car keys to teenage boys?”
Steele is just another EVIL coup plotter
100% correct, which is why Linda moved to take over Grassley’s job. Linda is as dirty in all of this coup attempt as McCain and the rest of them.
BTW, does anyone know what the traitor Kramer is doing these days?
McCain, Steele, and Tim Kaine all attended the same security conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2016.
