ROCK CONTROL NOW! Rocks friggin’ hurt. And, they can kill you as well. The “They were just throwing rocks!” line is BS. Ask Goliath. :-)

"Should have dropped a few JDAMs on Tehran."

There are a dozen addresses in Washington DC and Tel Aviv that you'd have to hit with JDAMs to put a stop to the riots in Iraq, not anything in Tehran.

Reuters is incorrect here, these are not “Supporters of Iranian-backed Iraqi paramilitary groups”, they ARE paramilitary groups, and if the opportunity presented itself, they would have seized the embassy.

I predicted this yesterday, when the additional embassy reinforcements were announced:

“My guess is the “protesters” with ties to Iran backed militias will probable bail, as they don’t want to be captured, interrogated and imprisoned.”

I think Graham mention something about Iran’s oil refineries caught the Iranians attention.

I suspect these theatrics were more of a Soros encouraged New Years news grabber than an purely Iranian strategy thing.
