It is interesting the difference between Christianity and Islam in the matter of faith. Christians ure not offended if you do not believe it is a foundation of their faith that you have a right to believe as you will, but your bear the responsibility.
Islam believes you must submit to Islam or they must kill you because their God is offended. It’s a snowflake religion headed to the fires of Hell.
Ironic
“Islam believes you must submit to Islam or they must kill you...”
On the other hand, it’s been about 1400 years since Islam was invented. What was the attitude in Christianity around 1400 AD?
I suppose there could be a lot of exaggeration in modern anti-Christian culture. After all, “Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!!!”.
Another interesting distinction is that Judaism and Christianity have a moral code dictated by a creator God. To be a Christian, one must believe and must follow the moral code of a Christian.
Islam is a “faith alone” religion. The highest principle is to believe in Allah/Mohammad. There is no over-riding moral code. In fact, observation leads one to believe that Islam’s code is, Thou shalt kill, Thou shalt lie, etc.
Faith alone was also the key principle in the Spanish Inquisition. The faith was supreme and the leaders could torture to achieve faith in non-believers. This with the Lord’s moral code as a perceived basis of their faith.
