Whatever tenuous grasp on reality that Joy Reid and her regulars ever enjoyed seems, sadly, to have been lost. Some sort of mass psychosis seems to have gripped the gang. The delusions were on full display on Reid's MSNBC show this morning as Joy and her guests went full Alice in Wonderland. They actually asserted, in a discussion of the impeachment of President Trump, that:
The media sees impeachment "through Republican eyes."
The media "worships Republican hardball."
Members of the MSM tend to identify more with the Republican base than with Democrat voters.
It's wrong to report Republican vs. Democrat arguments on impeachment because it's "lies vs. truth, patriotism vs. traitors."
It is "dangerous" and "racist" to interview Trump supporters.
The media has treated impeachment negatively because the media are opposed to "change." [Obama 2008? Hope and change? Hello?]

These people used to show up on TV as people of reason. They had no big issue. They would just try to hide their feelings. And old ladies would say, they are such nice and normal people. But Trump has made them take off their masks. They are not nice. And they are not normal. They are in fact, quite mean. And they are quite mad. They believe the worst in us. Like we spend all our time thinking of race. We plot to take things away from black people and thats why we have money and jobs. We stole it from them.
Its funny that Trump has done more for black Americans than any other president. But the media can’t allow blacks to understand that. So there is a full court press against Trump. Without that 90% black vote, democrats can’t win the presidency.
Definitely the original with Richard Roundtree. The remakes were pretty awful.
