Mr. McConnell, though, is insisting President Trump have the same impeachment process afforded to President Clinton

And he needs to stick with that like glue, and chant it over and over on every news channel, particularly if it seems that Dems are resisting it in any way.

“And he needs to stick with that like glue, and chant it over and over on every news channel, particularly if it seems that Dems are resisting it in any way.”

and that’s exactly what they are doing, Senate Judiciary Chairman Graham did that again this morning: no witnesses because we’re going to adopt the 1998 Clinton impeachment trial rules ...

Everyone should make this their talking point and paint the Dems as not being fair by wanting to treat Trump differently and deprive him rights afforded Bill Clinton at his impeachment.

There's only one reason they want new witnesses in the Senate trial and that's because Dems are on a fishing expedition. The House Dems made a case, voted for these articles and now they're stuck with it.

Well....Mitch McConnell did a fine job of not caving on the filling of the Antonin Scalia vacancy on the Supremes, when the Rats demanded that Obloviate be allowed to fill it. McConnell held it open until Trump was elected and filled it with Gorsuch. I believe he’ll hang tough; especially after his recent stemwinder speech.
