I suspect that there were a number of House Republicans who might have been inclined to vote with the Democrats, but no way in Hell were they going to be defacto supports of the way that Schiff/Nadler handled the hearings.
One pattern that gives the Trump attackers away as simply spoiled brats - they NEVER mention the underlying cause of the issue they have with Trump. In this case, Biden using his office to funnel millions to his kid - never mentioned in this article, or in the Washington Post piece that Flake actually wrote.
- In other words, THEY SIMPLY DON’T CARE, and, I guess, consider that part of it to be business as usual in DC, at least when done by Democrats.
